Icon on email link

Is there anyway that an icon could appear by the "email" link when you have new emails? Kind of line when you have a new PM?

Well, I've added a "Remember Me" button which will make relogging in much easier. The problem with an icon is that it would require a query to the mail server for every page load - and the processing of headers for each mailbox. That's alot of overhead.

I'll try to see if there are other ways to do this - but the Remember Me will make it easier to flip over and back.

Well, still the same problem. Thats because the email system is a full fleged email system using my operating system (not the database that drives this site). So any queries to it require external calls that would slow down page loads (possibly considerably).
