Hi,

can someone tell me if the optima Red Top 7335 work in a 2000 RT/10?
The optima web site seems to indicate it only works for models up to 1999?
I need a new battery and i want to make sure this is the right make/model for me.

It didn't fit in my 98. I went with Sears Die Hard last night when the original finally took a power at work yesterday. No worries, just one less thing I had to do this weekend. Would have sucked if it had died at Hooters. Man, when they croak they go without much warning.

Yup that's it, item number 22833178. They have a shorter model with less amps that apparently is the same item number. I didn't understand that. Anyways, don't try to get a few extra months out of an old battery. For $100 it aint worth it to be stranded like I almost was.

I just bought one of those red top batteries. 900 something amps. If it doesn't fit i'll just return it and get the die-hard battery instead.

i did a steal today... I chatted up one of the girls at harbour freight when i went to buy the jack so she gave me the employee discount - i didn't even ask for it. This totally made my day! I realized i had left my wedding band at home -not sure if that fact is connected but i suppose it is...
