Heffner Dyno Results--843 rwhp = 31 HP gain!!!!

Jason Heffner finished putting his larger aftercooler and larger injectors on my car. A few months ago my car dynoed at 812 rwhp (corrected) when Jason tuned it with his blower system, making it the highest horsepower, non-nitrous blown Viper in the world!

With the new aftercooler Jason was able to pick up an additional 31 rwhp with his skillful tuning bringing it to 843 rwhp and 792 rwtq (corrected). Once again, this raises the bar for a supercharged Viper (no nitrous). No dyno tricks were used (i.e., icing of the engine, race fuel, etc.) As soon as Jason was finished I rode off into the sunset (albeit a little sideways!!). Of course, dyno results are one thing, but the proof is on the track.

For those who are new here or just tuning in, my car has the following setup:

- single blower making 12 psi of boost
- 93 octane pump gas (no race fuel or nitrous)
- Heffner's large aftercooler
- 50 lb/hr injectors
- ported/polished heads with larger valves
- stock '97 Viper cam
- fuel management system
- forged pistons
- Heffner's expert tuning expertise

For all you guys who have cars being supercharged at Heffner's, you're in for a real treat. For you guys that have yet decided to make the plunge, I invite you for a test ride and you will never look back!

Here's the dyno sheet:

Thanks to Jason for his hardwork and great engineering!!

Damn that is insane. :thumb:

That thing is putting more hp to the wheels at 3400rpm than mine has at the crank.

One ? maybe Jason could answer. How much would that engine benefit from a blower cam or any cam with less overlap?

Good question and we plan to find out real soon. Crower spec'ed a cam using my engine specs. Their computer modeling showed I should pick up 50 HP and 100 psi torque with the custom ground cam. We're getting ready to test that real soon.
Man that sounds like you guys are going for broke.

Good luck in your never ending quest for hp and tq. :thumb:

You guys are making it real hard for me to decide what to do to my snake when I get it. :pissed: I thought I would just build a nice n/a motor and be happy. Not anymore, looks like blown is they way to go.

Thanks John! Very few people know how difficult it is to make this kind of HP like you! But track results are the ultimate measure of a car's capability. Stay tuned!
