Is it as straight forward as it appears or are there any tricks to make it easier?

Do I need to replace the u bolts and straps?

Do I have to remove the yoke to get the shaft off?

Thanks
John

The yoke does not have to come off. Yes the straps and bolts should be replaced. The bolts will have hardened loctite on them and can be a pain to get torqued down, but that is the hardest part of the job. Make sure and lube the shafts after installation.

If you get Unitrax, they come with straps and bolts. I would get the 1000+ hp Unitrax, or you can do it twice like Ward and myself did. If you want a price let me know.
