Guage Pillar Pods
In the mORGue they are running some sort of group buy on guage pillar pods. One of my friends asked me if I wanted a set. The thing is, I dont have a problem modifying my car, but drilling into the A-Pillar seems somewhat irreversible. You cant replace the windshield frame as it IS part of your frame. In the case that you ever want to remove the pods, you will be left with 2 holes. Anyone have any input on this?

Gerald had a good idea about using the drivers side left corner (winshield meets dash) and mounting a 3 pod (hrz) there. You never use that area anyway... would make life easier on an RT. Double sided tape would work too, run the wires along the edge of the windshield and down one of the vents into your main harness (yes it can be done).

Double face tape works, holes are easy to fill if you decide to put a screw or two in.

This is probably the way I am going...I'll get a generic three pod dash mount, and get a buddy that works at a car stereo shop to modify it, and glass it to fit (fiberglass)...using AutoMeter Ultra-Lite 2 1/6 Gauges for A/F, N20 psig, and C3 psig...The Ultra-Lite's look to be a pretty good match for the stocker gauges in our dash...

Kind of funny...f-body friend of mine installed a double pod with N20 psig and A/F...but the bezels on the gauges are chrome...he sent me a pic, and ask if I thought he should send them in to AutoMeter and get black bezels installed...
I ask...What color are the bezels in your dash gauges? Oops...I forgot...His 2002 WS6 has an "instument cluter"...or as I call it..."instument cluster-fuck"! No bezels needed...

I got some pictures on the pillar pods and the steering column pod too. Now i don't know which to get.
