I want to say a BIG CONGRATS AND THANKS to the following people:

My wife and family for coming to the event.

My crew and their families for doing a great job before and during the event.

Kiwi - Another successful chapter in the trophy dash book. Glad that this one did not involve any motorcycle cops.........

My customers: Anthony Waller (all motor dyno winner), John Myrick (SRT dyno winner), Todd Wilheit (won too many things to list them all) and Mike Caparco (quickest/fastest SRT and dyno winner).

SVS - thanks for making the long trip and showing who had the quickest and most consistent car at the track on Sunday. Very impressive.

BTR - Tom it is always great to see you and your lovely wife. A couple of 9.6x's aint bad either. You need to work on your light tho! Maybe more Sambuca next time..........

UtahViper - 10.1 @ 143 was incredible. So was your winning the street tire event. Good thing you had that trailer to take home all those trophies. Thanks for coming such a long way to race.

Paolo - You also get the long drive good guy award. I am sorry I pussed out on our roll on race. I wanted to race you but just felt like the event on Sunday was more important. I promise I will make a trip to Chi-town in the spring and we can go out to your favorite test track and tie it on. Great to meet you and see your awesome car!

Heffner - you got a baddass TT! It looks clean and runs smooth and fast! Thanks for letting us borrow your impact for doing our diff swap. Hope to see you again soon.

Lee Saunders - thanks for letting us borrow some bolts and clamps at the track. I really appreciate it.

Bobby Archer - thanks for helping us with the diff replacement. Having Archer at future drag race events would be a great thing for all drag racers.

Peter Blach - why the hell was I hugging you after we ran 9.88 @ 152? I am just glad I did! Great to see you.

Smokin, Waller, Prashant, Getbit, Carrot and the rest of the Jr. and Sr. Pimp Patrol - if half of what you say went down then I am really surprised that you guys event made it to the track on Sunday!

Macedo, Cudaman and Fuelman - always great to see you guys. Who got to play "ski patrol" on the drive home?

Norm, Elvis, Ben - always good to see you guys. Scott the big .500 light gun made some awesome runs this weekend including a perfect reaction time.

RSI - Gerald, Jason, Rohn, Albert, SW, Jason Styles, all your cars were impressive. Congrats on a lot of strong runs.

David Weaver & Mike Murrillo - thanks for a great dyno event.

Dr. Roof - great job, this was the best drag event yet. Please keep it going! So when is the next event?

I was amazed at how many fast cars were running on Sunday....lot's of 9 and 10-second rides that also double as street cars. Very impressive. I was let down by the number of SRT-10s that showed up as I expected many more. The only tuner version of an SRT-10 was from Hennessey, but I expected to see SRT's from the other tuners as well but it was not the case. Hennessey's SRT-10 twin turbo car put down some pretty serious e.t.s (9.8 under boost) but just when things were heating up he blew the rear diff. Being that this is the first really fast SRT-10 Hennessey is serving as the test bed to see what parts of the new SRT will live or die...and obviously he found the limit of a stock SRT diff. Amazingly they did a diff swap in the parking lot and then went out to run a 9.75. I can't wait to see what other SRT-10 tuners will offer for the new Viper. Is there anything fast available from TNT, SVS, or others or is Hennessey the only fast SRT-10 at this point?

It appeared as if there was a lot less bickering and trash talking between viper tuners at the Sunday showdown. Such bashing of each other only hurts the entire Viper group as a whole. It's always been my thought that if somebody has a nice and/or fast car, give them credit for it rather than trying to cut them down to make yourself look better. If you don't like that you've been beat then build a better car and let your e.t.s do the talking. If you give it your best and still lose then shake their hand and give credit where it's due. The bottom line is that SVS, RSI, TNT, Hennessey, and others all make some pretty potent stuff but just go after big HP in different ways which ultimately offers Viper owners a wider choice of options.

I know alot of people were itching for Jr to make the trip and I'm glad he did. Kudos to the entire group for a great day.

I hope someone can post some videos!

The HOS crew had a blast as well...got to see some really strong cars and work some kinks out of our motor program.

Enjoyed the fellowship and getting to see some faces we only see once or twice a year.

I would like to extend a big "THANKS" to Norm Koerner (TXWYD) for giving us the platform to pull off a big number with.....Every competing all-motor car ran 139 or better this weekend and that says a whole lot in my opinion. Everyone stepped up their game and ran some great numbers.

Again congrats to Norm on the personal best with the HOS TXWYD....10.3 and 139 MPH....Honk if you Honkytonk!!!
