I would also consider a 5 point harness. Its safer than the regular ole seat belt and it keeps you from sliding around your seat during a 100 mph sweeper.

Dont cheap out on a helmet, after all, its your head. The fire extinguisher actually isnt too intrusive and its good to have just in case.
