Does anyone have an active link to this or those videos. I searched here and the .morgue but the links are bad.

No one here at work thinks it's possible for a Viper to kill a Busa.

Those busa's can run some sick numbers at the track!

9.5's, 9.6's at lower 140's STOCK..

Those are the 160 lbs VERY experienced riders..

You're average rider is hitting mid to low 10's at high 130's. What so hard for those guys not to believe a 'Busa getting beat or pulled from a roll?

Gerald,

These guys believe all the hype about bikes being untouchable, especially the Busa. Are your vids still around? The one that was hosted on the Kansas VCA site aren't available any longer.

Tony, I think your car has a lot less HP than Geralds does, right? If I am wrong, I apologize. I thought reading some time back that yours had around 600 RWHP when you raced that Busa, and Gerald is closer to 100 or more than that, yes?

Here is one of the Videos of Gerald racing a Hayabusa

Tony I saw that video before.. The thing you have to realize it you THOUGHT you raced a stock busa..hahahha..
Those guys on the boards are die hards. Those guys have
1 Gears
2. Small box mod (1 or 2 HP)
3. Big airbox mod (1 or 2 HP)
4, Velocity stacks modified (better breathing)
5. K & N air filter (couple HP on the top end)
6. Full exhaust (7 to 10 or more HP)
7. Weight saving (stock exhaust weighs about 40lbs on a 480 lb bike!)
8. Power Commander a custom map made ( about 5 HP)
and other small stuff on their "stock Hayabusa"

What you COULD have raced with about 100 to 200HP less HP is a 'busa with about 20 or 25 MORE RWHP/ TQ. On a 155RWHP - 165 RWHP STOCK bike, that's A TON!!!!!

Here is another video of One of our Atlanta guys racing a couple of my bike buddies from Chattanooga. The Viper is a nitrous car, 755 rwhp and 945 rwtq. The bikes have good riders and one has a pipe.....oh yea, the mirrors were removed from the bikes from day one. http://www.v6sho.com/videos/bikesvsviper(low).zip

Gerald...all I know for sure is it did not have a power adder and I got my ass kicked. I am about ready for round two :) I never learn.

True, and maybe I should have run from a 70 roll instead of 10 and 50. Notes of interest:
1. At 10 mph, my car was dead hooked up....don't know if a 700+ rwhp car would have done that.
2. If I would have had another 150 hp I would have still got my ass kicked.

You guys have got me motivated again though, I'm sure my buddy can find an honest stock Busa with an average to good rider. And I am a fair bit quicker now. What roll do we need to start at ?

a 945 rwtq viper accelerating would absolutley DESTROY a STOCK GSXR1000. End of story.

The busa's are not geared good for roll on races, they are geared for top speed. Add a couple teeth to the rear sprocket on one and it will be much faster. Havent raced one in my Viper yet, but I used to road race motorcycles and know they are pretty fast, they just cant corner like a high performance car

I usually hear it is better to run a busa from a fast roll, 70mph plus. We have found a bone stock local 2003 Busa to race...it may have a light, very good rider as pilot.
