Hi, I was wondering if Gen2 seats will fit in a Gen1? I found some black seats for sale from a 96 Viper (not sure if its RT10 or GTS) and was hoping it would fit my 94 RT10!

There is definitely some difference in the mounting brackets. I got the Northwind seat lowering kit for a Gen II, and had to modify the rails to mount in a Gen I.

perhaps i'm entering the wrong string of words in the search function?? (i can't find any reference to seat swaps between Gen1 and Gen2, just SRT and Gen2!)

Shit I wished that I knew the answer but I do not. Call Chuck Tator he will know for sure. Now if you want to talk about re-doing them that is where I can help.

I asked Chuck Tator about seats from a 96 Viper fitting in a 94 Viper, and he says yes. I'm not sure if 96 Viper seats are Gen1 or Gen2.... I guess if they're Gen1 then it's a no-brainer and still doesn't answer if Gen2 seats will fit Gen1.
