Please note a few things as you look at your car and decide what is correct and what is not.
The typical order of alignment is the hood to the doors and sills, and then the fascia to the hood. So if you don't like the way the hood fits the fascia, it is typical to align the fascia to the hood, not the hood to the fascia. There are exceptions tho.
Also be aware that things that can move or creep or droop on their own, that the most likely candidate is the fascia. Not the hood. So to correct an "age" problem, I would suspect the fascia. I discovered as I went through my car that the factory assembly methods are really not that great for longevity of correct front fascia placement. Which is why I modified as many of the mounting points and methods that I could. I will be so bold as to say, that is "upgrading."
