That sucks. That's local here in northern CA at Infineon/Sears Point raceway. Dangerous track for sure. The last NASA event I went to there about 5 cars lost the battle with the concrete walls. One was a fairly new Porsche twin turbo. I really hate to see that F50 munched up.
A local Ferrari club member has said that the accident occured on a warm up lap a couple months back. It was also apperantly piloted by a fairly famous race car driver. Don't know who though. The car is supposed to be back at the factory for custom repairs.
