stats on the car above...

An idea of speed. 276kph down the shute - 1.2k back straight of Pukekohe, our local track.

1.77 G's peak for cornering and 1.5 G's under brakes, all on slick tyres.

Best lap time for the 2.8km circuit is 60.1 seconds. It is very exciting to drive.

Some performance data taken from the on board logging that we run, with Track position sensors,

Lateral & Longitudinal G force sensors, Speed, revs etc

0 - 100kph 3.27 secs
0 - 150kph 5.96 secs
0 - 200kph 9.18 secs
0 - 250kph 14.94 secs
100-150 kph 2.78 secs
100-200 kph 5.95 secs
100-250 kph 11.76 secs
150-200 kph 3.17 secs
200-250 kph 5.76 secs
1/4 mile approx 10.5 @ 210.1 kph (130.5 mph)

Open Track Challenge F40

Here's the F40 that PMUM and I ran against (and soundly beat, even though we were on street tires and he was on Pirelli slicks) in OTC'02. It's got bigger turbos and some brake/suspension work. Helluva nice car and it was fun listening to it.
