Hey guys! Newer Viper GTS owner here. I picked up a 97 GTS in excellent shape. The owner was the 2nd owner, who had the original extended warranty transferrred into his name. The extended warranty is good until July 2004. I tried to get it transferred over into my name, but the dealer told me they can only be transferred once??!! I've heard that there are ways around this. Is it true? I would really like to have it transferred if at all possible. Thanks!!

I would recommend calling Chuck Tator...914-763-3136. He will be able to give you the straight answer.

If the extended warranty was already transferred once and you're the third owner it will not be valid for you. I've not heard of a work around to defeat this, be good to know though.

My understanding is only 1 transfer allowed. However, you might be able to have the former one revoked and a new one in its placed added - call Chuck about this.
