i got the 4yr/40k added on after my original expired; it has a $100 deductible and it cost 2K
V10 MOJO, same thing was offered to me from woodhouse for 1700 and change.
I'd say give chuck tator a call on it.. he beat the hell out of the price my local dodge dealer was offering.
You can't really compare the deal you're being offered with a deal someone else got -- as I understand it, the factory is changing the prices all the time, and the car's age and mileage are critical factors. However, you can compare one dealership's offer to others.

The two best offers I had were Tator and Woodhouse, by a mile. They were hundreds lower than the next best one, and I called about eight or nine places.
I purchased mine from Chuck Tator. He had the best price I could find.
I got mine from Ringold Dodge in GA, they were cheaper than most by about $400, sorry don't have there number handy, but you can find it on the .org site.
There are several different plans available, some cover more than others.

You need to check them all out and see which one looks best to you.

Where did you buy the car from???
Just extended the warranty on my '94 through Tator!
snake, i bought it from dodgeviperforsale.com(marv rose)
Rob...Then you're gonna need to call Chuck...
Call Chuck Tator 914-763-3136
The reason I ask where you bought your ACR, is because if one buys a used Viper that is still under the factory warranty from a dealership, the dealership can certify it as a Certified Chrysler Used Car...and you can get a 7/70 for around $600, that covers most anything that costs any real money on the Viper...I got this on the 2000 Durango R/T...

I believe Mike (MHQC) did this on his 2000 Black RT...and this only applies to a Viper that is still under the 3/36 factory warranty...bought from a dealer...

That said, you can't go wrong picking up a Viper from Nathan and Marv...they only sell top knotch cars!!!
