What he said. When you login to your email, check the "Remember Me?" box. Then whenever you are on the main index page it will tell you if you have new email waiting.

What do you see when you go to My Alley - do you see an @ViperAlley Email information box? If so, what does it say?

I dont think you can have anything set wrong; the box will only appear when you have NEW and UNREAD emails pending.

Well, that means you are logged in. You will see a "You have 1 new email messages" when there are new ones in your INBOX which you have not read. You will see if on this page:
