This is one of my current projects:

Slap some paint and the correct Eleanor rims on this car and she's going to challenge my Viper in the gawk factor deparment.

She already hangs with the Viper in the 1/4 mile.

Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Steve, you ever talk with Mark Cooper? He's got a nifty little shop at his home and is building some cool projects.
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Haven't spoken to Mark in a very long time...

Ahh, Eleanor from the Nicholas Cage remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds". Cool!
I liked the Eleanor in that version better than the original which used an early 70's Mustang.

I like both versions of the movie, the cars are just cooler in the remake.
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

I have a *HUGE* sweet spot for eleanor. She is on my list of things to build in the future, 100% correct.

Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

The only thing "old" about that gal is the unibody! I LOVE that car!!!

Even thought about selling the Viper to build an Eleanor.. but changed my mind.
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Very Cool car! Gotta love that color too!

Carol Shelby is actually producing these things in Texas. I met him at a grand opening of a Shleby store here in Dallas. Dan Panoz was also there. Both of them were super nice guys!
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

the only problem is that he is asking between $80K-150k depending upon the upgrades. For the top end car you could buy a somewhat rough Cobra and have a car with some real history :thumb:
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Too much $$
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Great project Steve, can't wait to see the finished product.
Sweet car
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Looks good, what color is it going to be?
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Must be the silver, right?

Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Dodge Stealth TT is better,But and there is a BUT,I like hot rods though... My favorite hot rod is a 1969 chev camaro zL1
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

stealth better than a GT500? Don't know if I agree with that...

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to get a 3000GT VR-4 (I like its looks better than the Stealth)
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Yeah, wait till you own a stealth. Those and the 300ZX's are the biggest POS's ever built.
Re: Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds

Sorry guys... I haven't been making the rounds to all the car sites lately.

Here are updated pics of my build. I hope to be done in December.

It will be the correct colors.
