I disagree, you can find decent and nice used cars in the 16-20K range easily. Its all about who you buy it from and what kind of financing deal you get. Fully loaded 2002 Jetta's $16,500.....damn good if you ask me. 2000 BMW 325's well equipped for $19,000, damn good too if you ask me. Cell phone service is getting cheaper and so will cars with all the new models coming out. Older Escalades you can find for $20,000 as well and they come well equipped!

Just saw an ad for the new Durango and it said "Price as shown $38,995" (or close to that).

$39k? Wow.
Too much money for something so bland looking. That's why I went for a Toyota Sequoia late last summer. Same money, better value.

BTW, why are you looking for something so small. Shouldn't you be looking at something more like a bus or an airport limo to haul your small village of people around? /images/graemlins/laughing.gif

I believe PJunkie is referring to the New Durango, as in new style, and we just got in 2 yesterday and are already down to 1. A butt-loaded ( professional term,so don't get offended ) Hemi 4x4 could list for this, yet we are talking a completely new animal.Very rugged, tons more room, especially in the third seat -- plus it's got that Hemi!! 2004, next to 2003, definitely makes the old one look very dated, and the interior materials are definitely a step up. It is priced in the same ballpark as it's competitors, and it is definitely a step up from what many considered a strong SUV, in the old Durango.

I know I work with these all day, but I like it --- heck , I live in Kneebrasky, we need these things jest to git around in the Winter.
