I just threw together a video of the local streetdrags and thought I'd share. There is another local now with a 2000 gts who was out racing the other night. I was really suprised that I was able to beat him on one of our runs. On 3 runs, he beat me once by a carlength, I beat him by half a carlength and then he beat me by a car and a half or so when i had a passenger. I also got a nice lesson on how much weight can play a role.. I took a friend who videotaped my last run and it slowed me down significantly (280lbs+ of extra weight).

They don't have timeslips at the street drags, but then again, you can't be kicked off for running too fast. It's a decent tradeoff, and you are truly trying to beat the car next to you.

nice racin'. I liked the vid. What mods are done to your viper. I noticed that the front rims where not the same as the rear.

Smooth tubes, filters and exhaust so far.. The rear wheels are forgelines with a set of BFG's on them

Man, I have NEVER seen a flagman at an organized drag race. It's like racing back in the 1950s or something /images/graemlins/laughing.gif. Where did this take place?
