Nathan and Marv Rose helped me sell my Venom 650R a while back and Nathan spent lots of time trying to help me buy my latest car. I felt they were honest and trusted their assessment of car conditions since they are as picky as me.

I thought they were great....They helped me with a possible trade and though it never went through, they were great the whole way, even afterwards..which says a lot.

I have heard nothing but negative stuff about these guys. Maybe they are good at customer service, just do not try to trade your snake with them unless you dont' mind below dealer trade in values.

OOOO, jason your a real rocket scientist aren't you?

Read before you knee-jerk reaction post rocket boy. I said BELOW dealer trade in value.

Dealer trade in is already a killer but to insult your customers with below dealer trade-in values is not smart.

Of course there are a lot of suckers in the world.

To offer you less money on trade is not wrong. When you shop for a Viper, do you pay more than someone would take just to be a good guy? You don't HAVE to trade in...sell it if it is worth SO much more. They are under no obligation to buy your trade either. It has to work for both parties. How long would they be in business if they paid more than they should (market values) just because a book says tradein value is different. The book doesn't write checks or buy cars does it. The dealer does. And he has a right to pay what he thinks is fair and resell for what he thinks is fair...consumers have the same rights. You are crying foul about the same thing that all consumers cry about...they want more money than the dealer is offering (I understand wanting it). They have to keep a safe gap between what they pay and what they HOPE to sell it for. There is no guarantee what they will get either. If retail was so easy, then why trade in. Do it yourself and be happier. The Rose's did a consignment deal for me because they couldn't come close to stepping up on the money I needed for my Venom 650R. That helped me get more and they made a commision too with no real risk.
They seem to work with me very well. I don't see that as a problem.

For the most part. Modded cars are sometimes not good investments for dealers so they suggested that to get me the most $$. I paid them an agreed upon amount for their trouble and everyone was happy. They put a pic and description on their website of my car but the car stayed with me. Whent the deal was put together, they sent a transport and the deal was done. Very nice, convenient and professional. Nathan spent much personal time trying to track down a 96-97 GTS that would make me happy and even when I went another route, he treated me well and gave good advice. They, of course, want to make money. We all do at our jobs. Nothing wrong with that.

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Viper - no idea what the story is with your car or the details of the car, but more than likely if we offered you what you feel was too low, then it was either a car that my dad didn't like (ie - bad color and/or year), had too many miles, or something didn't sound right. Don't know as all you posted is that we are bade people and that you have only heard negative things (which is odd that you would even call us if you have only heard bad things).

Regardless, sorry we couldn't help you out, good luck with the sale.

PS - Brian - I will let my dad know about the paperwork. Sorry about his oversight.

Hmmmm, that's very interesting. I'll give you and your dad another chance then buddy.

Here's my car:
2000 ACR Black/Silver stripes 1 of 34 built
24K miles (6k on motor after arrow rebuild)
transferable 7 year gold warrenty
chromed ACR wheels
T&D roller rockers

What will you offer on trade for a 2001 ACR, or cash price without trade?

What's the matter little toby? Scared to hear just how badly you got bent over on your purchase?

You know I wish you would stop following me around on my posts. You are so pathetic with these pre-teen quality posts of yours. If you behave IRL as your posts would indicate, then I understand why people say some Viper owners are complete loosers.

Please, sell your Viper, your a disgrace to Viper owners. Especially us ACR owners.

So tell me, where you born a low-brow bottom feeder toby, or did you have to work on it?

Now, where is that ignore option...
