OK, here is the video. Let me eplain something first. I SOUND LIKE A FREAKIN' SCHOOL GIRL after I pull him (barely). I really don't sound like that.. wtf is wrong with me?? I guess I was really excited and actually expected to get pulled from 20 mp to 150 or so.. But I pulled him.

After the light the car gets in front of him and he jumps out onto the shoulder AHEAD of me, the I know it's on. ALso, you'll notice I gradually get on the throttle I think if I would have hammered a lower gear, the race would have been much better in my part...

After I'm going too fast for driving conditions the reality side of my brain says let off the throttle as I see more intersections and traffic coming.. I let off, he lets off. He does a mini "fly by". Motorcycles was stock as I see the stock exhaust on it. Blue and silver color, could be a 2000 - 2001 ? Those years were less unrestriced than the 2002 and 2003's (I have a 2003)

The video is only shot from the video camera mount. I tried getting my friend to shoot a couple videos from the seat, but they just dont' turn out good at all. The TQ of the s/c viper just throws him around in the seat too much and it's VERY difficult to film...


Again, sorry for the school girl scream, but SHIT, I was excited and NEVER raced a 'busa before. I expected to get walked......

I took beat a new yellow/black GSXR 1000 the other night. That was my first bike kill. Gerald how much RWHP are you putting down?

Last dyno I did 750, but I've upgraded since then. I would guess prolly a tad under or over 800 at the rears...

I let my son drive my car the other day, and we ran upon a R-1 1000cc
(haven't really kept up with bikes lately) - anyway I figure what the hell
I'm not driving, so I can't get a ticket - so 'we' line up with the guy at around 50mph and hit it(no NOS), we steadily pull the guy until the speed gets
scary, by then he is way back in our rear view mirror. Later that night,
my son calls, and tells me he ran into the guy at a club(the guy wasn't wearing
a helmet when we raced) - he was freaked out that he lost so bad, and a friend
of his, that was following us, said he tried to keep up but backed off at 140mph - where he said we were accelerating like he was standing still.
I'll have to crank the NOS up, and make a date with one of the local busas
that's been sending me love notes.

1000's dont' come in yellow and black. I would bet my lunch you raced a TLR-1000 (yellow and black). Those are very easy to beat as they are the V-Twin setup and are the next step down to the GSXR Line of bikes... awesome kill though Smokin'!!!!
