Yesterday, my clutch felt a little less "solid" meaning that it had a bit less resistance and it was more "rubbery" upon depression. Today, I start the car and try to put it into gear...the clutch has no resistance now. At first it wouldn't go into gear at all...seemed like it never engaged even upon full depression.
Has the clutch been fried? If so, what type of mileage can be expected before you have clutch problems? Any help will be appreciated.
thanks guys/gals. /images/graemlins/sad

Check your clutch fluid. It sounds like you are low on fluid or it has gotten moisture in it. Didn't you put headers on the car? If so, you might want to check to see if you melted the clutch line.

Another thing to check - make sure your slave cylinder is not leaking.

If none of that looks wrong, change the clutch fluid.
