Nadine had mine off for a speedo swap, good idea to masking tape the black window surround low down where it meets the dash, to avoid scratching it, the plastic edge of the dash is quite sharp and its a tight squeeze. You have to be carefully not to snap to the clips that hold it in place near the screen, a sharp tug is required

good luck

I just pulled mine a couple weeks ago and repainted.. Easy job to do! Took me about 30-45 minutes. Pull your knee panels, undo the screws, push the headlight release knob behind the dash and remove the knob, pull the radio bezel first, then pull the main dash.. don't forget to tilt your steering wheel as it is a tight fit and you will probably want to mask the painted surface around the steering wheel area when reinstalling to avoid scratches. I would head over to the morgue site and do some searches in their media gallery for images of the dash and radio bezel backing so you know where the clips mount in.

Here are some picts of the finished dash.. I had it painted in Prowler purple to match my exterior.

I was quite happy with the results

I am in the process of removing my dash as the air bags need replaced and read that you mentioned a "morgue site". Were/what is that.....I don't want to break or scratch anything and I'm stuck around the stearing column right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I removed mine the other day, it wasn't hard at all. All you need is a philips screw driver. I managed to scratch stuff here and there but I was going to repaint it anyways.
