My freakin' A/C just took a shit. Good thing it's winter now.. In anyones experience what usually goes? Freon poured out from the compressor area in a small leak kind of fllllooooow. Took about 1-2 hours for it to completley drain. I'm hoping it's just a seal or hose.....

If it is seaping out of the unit itself - it's throw away material. attempts to weld them are usually unsuccessful. Hopefully it's just a hose fitting.

If its the unit itself and you want to buy a new one rather than a used one from a salvage yard - ask around if other cars use the same unit. Reason?

I'll bet it costs less to buy an A/C pump for a Neon than for a Viper... but they may be the same
