You going to try and snag it too?

I will see if my Nephew still has his wrecked GTS for you. It may be in the junk toy box. What do you need off of it?
I just may try and snag it at the end I dunno I just dropped $350 on my g/f's present  If he does have a smashed one with no wheels that's great I am really after the body and plastic frame part with any exhaust pieces on it.

Jason,,

Thanks man will keep that in mind.

Even if Craig got it for $2.99 it is $6 to ship in the US. By the time it gets to him who knows what it will cost. I can get new ones any day of the week for $9.99 at BJ's. The he can have a complete new car not just a wreck.

And if we get an RT/10 and a GTS and shipped it to the Great White North it will be cheaper to ship two at once than shipping them one at a time.

Let me see what deals I can find unless you want to snag that one Craig. Just make sure that you get that pencil, it looks like City wants it too.

LOL

Sounds good jerome. I'm still undecided as I have 2 cars here that I can cut up. I want to practice on those to actually see if it's doable or not. I am trying to decide where I want to make the cuts in the cars.

You guys are making this a reality???? /images/graemlins/shocked (Is that a woody I'm sport'n  ) I'd like to make a few comments:
1) I'll pay for everything! Model, paint, & time. You WILL let me know your costs UP FRONT so that I can FRONT some $!!!
2) If at all possible, I'd prefer a 1:12 (unless it get's price prohibitive...I think the base models go for $90 in that scale)
3) You both do this in your SPARE time. It's not like I need Santa to bring it.

TEEEEEEHEHEHEHE! This is really cool. :thumb:

I would LOVE to do a 1:12 scale car however the parts just aren't there to do it. This includes hood, facia side sills. I could likely do custom wheels but I don't think I'm skilled enough to make a smoothie hood into a hood with a NACA duct and hood vents.

I am going to try this before I attempt to do it for someone who is paying for it to be done, I won't send something out that is my frist effort as I know there will be flaws. If you had teh first car I'll do and the second one I'll do side by side you'll swear I did the first one when I was 12. I'm kind of a perfectionist. Also I'll have to visit my friendly dodge dealer and see if I can order the sapphire blue paint so the color is exact /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif I am going to get started on the first car hopefully by thursday this week. The cutting apart and swapping facia and side sills will probably take a couple hours to do then I have this adhesive product along with this other idea I have to stick them together. That's another reason why I want to do one for myself first, to see if this stuff is strong enough /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif

I will keep everyone updated with whats goin on.
