CLARIFICATION ON SVS

Thanks to all the guys that gave support when I really needed it. :cheers:

I will OWN the fact that what I stated about SVS was based on huge pressure thrown at me and then I redirected it to this public forum. Not the best way, or the best place to hang it in the wind. /images/graemlins/down

I just needed to feel that people care and have understanding. If I would have had some good friends around that helped give me a kick of understanding or support then I could have dealt with the pressure and not directed it on this forum. Sorry I just didn't have anywhere to turn. I really needed a friend to say "Hey dude everything is cool"

We have pulled together our resources and we will be on the road Thursday blazing a trail heading down to TEXAS! /images/graemlins/thumb1

SVS is NOT going out of business.
SVS is in a transitional period of great things. (adding extra pressure to me)
SVS has been around the Viper scene for 10 years and will be around for a long time to come.

I have been knocked down many times through this business and when I get up I plan on coming back stronger. :nod:

To all the guys flying with us: "We just hit a little turbulence" skies are clear.

After having made all the comments about SVS is going to Texas, and then things got in the way that it seemed like we couldn't make it, I took it all on my shoulders. It bummned me out, we worked through it, and now we all are making it happen.

I'm very happy that we can be part of the show again.

Dr. Roof, I really appreciate your wanting to help. Now I would like to help you and give support to this event. Let me know where I can send the check.

I am glad to hear that things are working out. Hate to lose a great tuner/competitor. Have a safe trip, we will also be leaving for our 24 hour straight road trip. I hope the weather holds up!!!!!!!!! I would hate to make this long trip to have it rained out. Sounds like you might have one of the fastest if not the fastest cars there! Keep her together and it should be interesting to say the least.

We all have our ups and downs but it is how we react to those obstacles put in our way that teaches us who we really are and who we can become. Philosophy/Religion 101 according to utahviper.

John (HMS) needs to talk to his client Terry Root into making the trip. With SVS and another one or two auto trans I predict that Terry's top ET numbers will fall, The 156 MPH will be the first thing to fall and then the ET.

Much of the crowd will be there to see the SVS beast, I have seen it before and am really looking forward to seeing it run, the motor, the sound, thank you jr.

Maybe HMS does not really want the Root Viper there, just maybe it cannot run close to the same numbers in competition, just maybe.

(John you need to call Terry and get him moving, it cant be the cost of shipping so what is it, lost power)

Seems like the record holder is not showing huh? I'm not in a position to really call out anyone at this point. But it seems you have made quite a generous offer to get him there. Oh well, I'm just excited to get across the Texas state line and have a good time.

Now it is just about waiting and anticipating as this next week starts to boil adrenaline...........

Glad you will be there JR - it would'nt have been the same without the legendary SVS car there too.

can't wait to hear how everyone gets on - it'd be perfect if no one breaks anything and everyone gets in some runs they're happy with. That'd be a perfect race weekend!

That's a mighty tuff one to predetermine. I'm quite sure that is what everyone would like to see. :thumb:

Interesting how "practicing" and "when the curtain drops" have such different levels of awareness. Put on your thinking caps and do the best you can.

Mechanically speaking, well, that's a "nobody has control over anything" area.

Check it once, check it twice, check it thrice.

Racing is fragile, handle with prayer.
