The same way they chrome plastic for model cars, other toys and such.

That Aston Martin DB14 is just highly polished aluminum, not chrome.

The Jaguar was also done the same way as the Aston Martin (I believe). They just didn't paint it, to show off the aluminum and how well the car is built.
