Yeah the Eibachs will definitely suck for drag racing. There's very little front <-> rear weight transfer now, which is great for road racing. I tried a 100 mph full throttle lift on a cresting sweeper and there was virtually no induced understeer. I used to do that when it was stock just for grins and it would kick the rear end out a couple feet.Rich Detert said:I lowered mine by cutting the stock springs 1 coil (I bought a spare set of stock springs to cut).
It lowered the car about 3/4's of an inch and really helped the look of the car. The ride is a little harder, but not bad.
I thought about Eibachs, but was told they really kill the weight transfer for drag racing. Since I'm really into drag racing more than the road course, I went the cut spring route since it is supposed to hurt the weight transfer less. /images/graemlins/gr_driving3.gif
