Cars I\'ve Transported Recently (pics)

These are some cars I've transported in the past few weeks (and a few I came across along the way). Some are very unique (and rare) and some are just outright awesome! Can you guess what some of these are?

Pretty good guesses, TM!

The first and last Ferraris are 360 Modenas.

The Cobra is a Superformance (South Africa) Cobra.

The other Ferrari is 1970 Ferrari Daytona that looks like it just rolled off the factory floor. The undercarriage was perfect with not a spec of dust or dirt.

The Viper is a GTS that took first in the Viper Racing League sometime in the last couple of years.

The funny looking red car is a 1958 Vespa. As the story goes, Vespa wanted to build a car and approached the Italian government (which at the time owned Fiat). Fiat lobbied against this car, so Vespa went to France to build it. They built about 20,000 of these in the late 50's and only about 100 exist today. It has a two stroke motor that makes all of 18 HP. This one was featured in a book about micro cars and is fully restored. The guy that bought it races all kinds of open wheel cars and is a Ferrari collector but just had to have this one to fill out his "stable"!

The three-wheeler was owned by the same guy that sold the Vespa. He has a full collection of micro cars and rare cars that I've never even heard of. This one is a Messerschmidt. I thought it was cool how the "cockpit" swung open like an old WWII airplane. He also had a 1949 Crosley Hot Shot that was the first car to have all-wheel disc brakes and also the first car to win Sebring.

There are some really awesome cars out there! Of course I'm partial to the Vipers (and the Modenas too!).

Good point. He only shows pics of cars that he has permission. No worries with Gary, period.

Unless you never drive your car, it's pretty likely people have taken photos of it. People are taking pictures of my car driving down the highway, sitting in parking lots... a few weeks ago, it was even photographed from a boat. Probably not many Viper owners can say that.
