I am not getting any codes when I plug in the OBD2.
The red brake light remains on - as if the parking brake is not released.
I'm sure it is something simple, but where should I begin, please?

Assuming you’ve verified the parking brake switch is released, check your master cylinder level.

Thanks Widow Maker, I had not thought about the brake light switch.
I guess I have to remove the cover around the shifter and parking brake lever, and also remove the small storage tray between the seats? is that correct?
The Master Cylinder is up to level.
