Bradenton Dragway TONIGHT....................

Hello All,

I know this is last minute notice, but for anyone who wants to come out, we will be at Bradenton Dragway tonight for their Thursday Test and Tune. The track is located 9 miles east of I-75 on SR 64. (this is about 45 minutes south of Tampa)

We will have a few of our 9 second Vipers on hand and breaking in our latest project on its first passes (a 1968 SS/AA Hemi Cuda)

There is usually plenty of "ViperBait" on hand. Bring your Vipers, its probably the best $ 10 bucks that you can spend.

Sounds sweet Tom. Wish I was down there! (for more than 1 reason too!!!)
Good luck tonight at the track TOM. Are you bringing any vipers that you haven't got into the 9's with? Would be nice to get another one in there.
Post your results when you get home Tom!!
Hello,

We had (2) Vipers there that have already ran 9 second times, but it was not to be tonight. Track conditions were poor..No excuses though, the cars ran 10.03 @ 144.74 and 10.09 @ 145.33. 60' times were off, ran 1.5+ and we were both lifting from spinning in 1st and 2nd gear.

Our Cuda did very well for its first time out. This car weights 3300 lbs and runs mufflers with NO Nitrous..YET!. It ran 6.22 in the 1/8 mi at 112 MPH ( 1.35 60') but ran out of gearing shortly there after, coasting through the traps at 9.80's at only 133 mph. We are going to try a 4.10 gear which should knock close to a second off of the e.t.

There were several Supras, Corvettes and F bodies present, but I did not see any of them run faster than 12 teens. There was a JET POWERED SEMI TRACTOR(Kenworth with Sleeper) that ran 9.55 at 167 MPH on a first time break in pass. It proceeded to burn the telephone and electrical wire coatings, flags and small trees that were probably 80' behind it during its afterburn routine.

Take care,

Tom
