I have raced a modded STI at the strip and he was taking me due to the AWD.. sucker would launch at 5000 + rpm and literally jump up in the air and take off. Amazing stuff to watch. I am sure that lifespan on the car isn't going to be so great. /images/graemlins/wink He would get the hole shot and then it would be a game of catching up.. he would usually take me in the 1/4. (again this car was modded bigtime). I just ran this weekend using a set of BFG drag radials and schooled a modded Evo 8 (very similar to the STI). I can beat normal sti's usually even, with the insane launches. It will be interesting to run some more now that I've got tires that will actually hook at launch.
