well we all tried real hard to make the race happen to a real success. It just wasn't meant to be!

Moundir and HMS was ready and prepared to run blower Vs Turbo. the race was on but we all was excited and this time too many people attended the race! The video's will not answer the questions. Cool footage of all the Vipers unleashing the power!

which is better on the street? Turbo Vs Blower ??? we will have to wait another day to see the real results.

I still feel the Turbo is the way to go for real street driving with the silent sting it carries. The blower car announces it sting before it delivers it!

On the track it is proven the blower car will be King for now. The blower car rules the Track with forced induction! It seems like some guys keep making excuses for the Twin Turbo's on the track. Too Much Power, We Turned down the Boost, My only question is why come to a gun fight with a Knife? Twin Turbo guys put up or shut up! Excuses don't win races nor does dyno numbers! We have heard for a long time the TT will rule, Maybe they one day will. but for now the Blower sits high on the throne!

maybe next time I will race The Turbo car because either way Win or loose the question can be answered. which forced induction system is the fastest on the street.

I guess we will have a couple more months of debating the topic unless Manny and Yellow Fever go at it! But the 2 months before the next race will give people plenty of tuning time to make sure we can determine the king of the stret!

HMS car was most impressive with those ET's on the bad track conditions and the MPH was insane!

I am ready to see the end result

David,your point is well noted.. Does this mean we can expect you to buy another SC pkg once you sell your RT ??

Personally I couldn't give a Rats ass about my 1/4 mile times..Hell I'd even give up a .5 sec at the track to own an TT car over an SC car.
But thats just my personal preference. The amazing thrill of having all the boost immediate the incredible daily stealthness and driveabilty as you noted has to be experienced to be appreciated !

I agree 100% for the street. those TT are silent but deadly! :nod:

My point or question is the debate of which is really faster on the street? as a daily driver there is no doubt the TT is the ultimate choice.

David , hopefully Manny and I will clear the air a little /images/graemlins/supergrin.gif

Were planning on squaring off this weekend.
I'm confident who ever wins it won't be by a land slide...Maybe a couple car lengths either way.
Our plan is to mix it up , try a few runs from 2nd gear..a few from 3rd and a few from 4th.

I think the TT stands its best chance in the higher gears...Manny will be running drag radials and I'll be on my Pilots so I think he'll get me in the lower gears.

Whatever happens I'm sure we'll have a blast in the process :cheers:

After all the steaks are High !! No pun intended /images/graemlins/laughing.gif... Were racing for Dinner at Ruth Chris :thumb:

that is the way it should be. sure we want to know who is faster but when it is over nothing like Ruth's Chris!

The beauty of the viper is there are many options and opinions and they all work great with tremendous power. we all have the right to choose what works best for us!

Now you guys get this video shot so we can see! LOL

BC , I agree..I had my oil changed on Saturday and I was shocked to see that more than half my tread was gone ! Problem is they don't make a Drag Radial in a 19inch..For the life me it I can't figure out why BFG hasn't stepped up to the plate. It's just a matter of time and everybody will be rolling on 19's.
I'm hoping the SRT guys will help expedite the demand.

Without NOS the turbos have a way to go to show their true colors on the track.

It may be the SC reigns supreme for a while yet - we'll see. You've got em covered right now Doc and you deserve it too

But rest assured the day will come when we will see what TT can do

I say to make it fair we take a powerful DLM car like Mikes, Davids, Chads,etc etc rather than Manny's Level II vs Jeffs. Kind of apples vs oranges, no?

But who knows!? We'll see. Strange things have happened...

G Manny makes the same hp as Roof but way less tq something like 55 rwtq less /images/graemlins/shocked I cant wait till these guys run as it is for fun, Hell there is a guy in NJ with a final edition with TT from Heffner, I hope I can get a hold of him in Tators bbq :idea: :nod:

I think all you blower guys who mindlessly waive the blower flag are the same ones that mindlessly waive the viper flag just to stand by the big money you spent on your big purchase. Owning a supercharged viper myself, ill be the first to admit that the twin turbo cars are faster. More torque available down low in the RPM band and the same boost levels with similar peak hp. To say that the two types of cars are "equal" is just plain ignorance or denial. I love my blower car, but know when a better product is around. You guys are fuckin tools.

Damn Smokin', your being the tool here man. YOu talk all this talk about TT cars (nothing wrong with them at all!) You're the one waiving the TT flag when you haven't even ran in a S/C car that pulls like a frieght train..! (You cant' compare a J trim blower vs a Novi 2000) Is there something wrong with the blower cars lining up against all these TT cars? We are just curious to see what the real deal is, so far nothing.. Show us! /images/graemlins/smiles I don't think anyone is talking shit or pointing fingers or saying anyones system is unsuperior, do you think?
Everyone is saying they're the best, etc. Why? just cuz they're quiet? Cuz they run better? They break down less? Less heat? Better traction? More HP? I really don't care! But lets see how they run. MIkes car vs JH's car would've have been the test and dare I say MIke would've pulled him!? I'll be a betting man and say he would have!! Perhaps they are better than SOME other S/C systems.. IF they are that much faster, where are the over 150mph trap speeds? All we are seeing is mid 140's and blower cars have that all day long. Crap,. That's old news. I'd love to see a TT or SC car break 160mph since there are blower cars running 150+! Fast and E.T. are two different animals...


Crap, give me a few months and I'll put ANY amount of money, boost for boost vs ANY TT on the street.... TT's and 6 speed AND street driving do NOT mix..

Now hurry up, get on the phone, get some ammo and give me a reply... :rofl:

I give you credit, anytime you see a blower thread you always post before reading it and put your foot in your mouth. go back and read this thread again.

Kinda just like you telling False information on my car that you knew was facts!

and if the TT is really faster and better product prove it! SO FAR MY DLM CAR HAS PUT the redsnakesGTS Heffner TT and the HMS TT and NOS car on the trailer. (this thread was not about this but you have to spell it out for you becasue it takes you a while to read) the TT has been beat as well as your slow supercharged car! now you are in denial there are no facts that prove otherwise!

now back to the purpose of this thread. it is not about any tuner it is about Twin Turbo and Blower applications. No clear winner and I cannot wait until there is.

Smokin you looking at buying a mustang? you keep acting like a Mustang owner! if my sytem was not as superior as mine i would keep telling everyone how cheap it was too! if I wanted your power i would do a Roe Blower much cheaper and proven to be much faster! where is your timeslip?
and since your so smart the Twin Turbo is the Big money purchase so your saying the Twin Turbo needs to justify the price tag?

I agree with that statement. I think the Twin Turbo is still fairly new. I know with the HMS car it unleashes the Power and runs flawlessly. I think each time out it is getting better and better. I think by the end of the year in the finals of the V-10 Nationals it will be a TT car with NOS that will break the 6-speed record. maybe by then we will have cars running low 9.30 ETS with the 6 speed.

Sal P Heffner car is impressive as well. especially on the stock bottom end.

we see the potential in the TT I just feel the real success is gonna be a little farther down the road! can't wait to see it happen!
