Was interested in this SUV as it is more of a muscle car compared to the Porsche or Bmw and seems a better fit with my personality. So wifey wants me to pick one up as a present from her for xmas this year...well almost. Ordered it (and paid for it) and after a ton of bs from the dealership, every excuse under the sun as to why delivery is delayed, it is now slated for early April this year. Man, what a pain in the ass dealing with new car dealers...fuckin two faced liars. $64k plus taxes and they still pull your chain, unreal. Anyway, those of you who have one, your thoughts on pros and cons would be appreciated. I would ask on the Jeep forum but after a quick read, it is clear the place is full of fem-bots and cum swallowers. Thanks.

The WKII (2012) is better than the WKI (we have a 2009, it is my wife's vehicle), however we decided to keep the 2009 due to the big price increase. The new ones handle and ride better, and the interior is much better. However, straight line acceleration and speed are similar due to the weight increase. Your wife would probably like the WKII better out of the two.

I have a 2007 and lvoe mine. I recently wrapped a 2012 with paint protection film after he got it in. He took me for a ride in it and all I can say is WOW! I am blown away at the quality increase in the vehicle. The interior is vey nice... in fact nicer than the BMW X5M. It has a ton of technology in it. It also rides much better and hasa little more power, but still feels the same from the line; it launches like a BEAST. I would love to trade in my 07 for a new one but the price to me is a little too steep. $64,000 is a lot for a Jeep and one that the X5M will walk away from.

I love mine! Got it in late Sept or early Oct....should turn 3,000 miles this week. I previously had an '06 for my dd and this new one blows it away...hands down. Fit, finish, ride...has it all. Some broken in ones are pulling 4.3's with one in the 4.2's....faster than previous generation.
I have a ported t/b and drilled/slotted rotors (stock rotors sent to R2 for conversion)....rotors look sooooo much better. Have 360 Forged 21's on order......

Nice....that seems fast for a stock jeep?! Wow, I cant wait to get on this thing.

It is! The others are running 4.5's with low miles. BTW....get rid of the Jeep emblem on the hood and the Jeep Cherokee emblems on doors. I replaced my door ones with 392 Hemi ones...left the hood plain, looks a lot better. What color are u getting?

Ya for sure in the list of first mods Im doing...de-badge it, matt black the boomerang and tint up the driver and pass windows. I would like to do headers and exhaust as well when they become avail. I purchased the tow package, lux 2, pan roof, HP audio, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat. (mineral grey was my second choice, for some reason I think that colour looks really badass as well on these things. I think its bc it matches the rims) I am going to put in the rear dvd system that hang off of the head rests as with these "active" systems you cant have the monitors installed there. Where did you get the 392's?? I would be interested in putting those on mine as well...you have any pics of your beast?

Mine's identical to yours...every option minus summer tires. I bought the 392 Hemi's on Ebay....there's a bunch of different one's all Chrysler/Jeep originals. I did a thread in this section when I got my Jeep with pics....
I am waiting for Corsa to release their exhaust....can't wait! I will get a cai and tune when they become available.

I'm looking at a 440 stroker WK1. I heard it run this weekend and I'm in love...520 AWHP and 500+ AWTQ. Has the stock tranny w/ blue tops, but 2k on the build and 12 k miles.
