My Arrow Rebuild will be done soon and I have a Paxton S/C on order. How long should I wait AFTER break-in to get it installed?

Ok..sounds good. How much should a normal installation and tuning cost? Nothing special...just around 6psi.

I think a good mechanic can have it installed in a day, maybe 6-8 hrs. Than you can figure another 2-3 hrs for dyno tuning.

I just got mine back about 3 months ago. Arrow runs the motor on the dyno for 2 hours to break it in and then does 6 dyno power pulls. so after that the motor is broke in and ready to go.

I would and did, do the normal break in procedure but cut the time frame in half to 500 miles.

miles 1-200 keep under 2500rpm
miles 201-300 keep under 3500rpm
miles 301-400 keep under 4500 rpm
miles 401-500 keep under 5500 rpm
with no constant extended length rpms.

Change the oil and filter. drive it really hard for the next 500 miles. If there is going to be a problem it should hopefully happen here.

Once you have established the motor is solid and strong, do your mods. If you just put the mods on right away and have a problem, you will have to revert it back to get it fixed again.

OK..that sounds good, cause it is hard to drive like an old lady.

How many miles do you have on your engine now?
