I used an earlier version of the APEXi AFC on a 3000GT and it worked GREAT. So i'm sitting here wondering why no one has used them on a viper yet? They are universal... MAP sensor driven. a Few splices and it's talking directly to the ECU....

These compact little suckers could max out a fuel injector 100% duety cycle if you wanted too.. if you wanted fuel, it would flow it. Go lean, it would do that too /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If one had a larger injector setup and and forced induction, you could tune the entire fuel map and use in conjunction w/ a boost controler.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................

MM,

I think you're on the right track with the APEXi AFC...there is a little viper history with this unit...Hook us up! I need to be runnin a little fat inside of two months...

But do not let this inhibit the soft top production! :)

I have for a long time been interested in something like this (heck, i love anything digital).

If you cook something up (remember, the operative word is "plug and play" not "plug and pray") then i would be extremely interested.

cheers,
Par

I have the pinouts for the viper ECU connection w/ the APEXi harness. I'll see what I can come up with as far as some molex connectors or something.. make it a hellovalot easier than everyone splicing into the harness!

Yup, you can get them direct from asia w/ pinouts in english.

Vipers have no knock sensors.. so that feature will not be usable unless we mount a small knock sensor to the block or something.

What year is your VR4? Mods? How much ya asking? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
