Was thinking about NOS, but decided to see when a Gen 1 S/C will be available for my 96 r/t 10. Anyone has any idea as to when one might be available? Same cost as Gen 2 s/c? Estimated HP output?

Roe Racing is working on modifications to their SC now. Sean bought a Gen I for testing a few months back. Output (percentage-wise) should be identical, and price should be comparable, it's mainly some extra brackets for moving the alternator and things of that nature.

Yes it is. Shouldn't be to much longer and will be worth the wait.

I've never heard him mention that date, and I was around there fairly often until he moved out to Green Cove Springs (much bigger facility).

Ah, I don't visit the .morgue at all these days. I saw prototype brackets on his bench at the old shop, so he's definitely working on it. I said earlier that he bought a Gen I, but now that I think about it, I think maybe Arrow just shipped him a Gen I motor. Anyway, it probably got delayed while they were gearing up to move to the new shop.

His employee Dave will be at my house this weekend, I'll ask him what's up and let you know.

He said they've just been busy with the move, as I suspected. The Gen I SC is on the short to-do list and they're not far from installing it on a car and running tests (and as all of you probably know, install time on that kit is relatively minor).

I'm going over there today to get a few of their new computers on their network, and they just got their dyno installed and running. I'll see what else Sean has to say about it, if anything.

For the record, the SC is actually on the Gen I car now. They're revising one of the brackets and doing a few other minor things, but it doesn't look like it ought to be long now.

He does have a Gen I at the shop (I think it's a 95), the crate motor which Arrow sent him is a Gen III.

I also saw the latest rev of the aftercoolers. Pretty cool. (No pun intended...)

Had a few more minutes to talk with Sean again today. Finishing up the Gen I SC is on his priority list, things have just been hectic with the move.

I also saw the latest dyno sheet from the Final Edition beast they're building... over 900 RWHP, and torque pegged at over 1000 RWTQ at only 3600 RPM...
