ok, so im contemplating just getting sims and doing the muffler delete(not the one on the ass end, its already gone... the mufflers im talking about are the ones under the sills) and taking off the cats as well. theoretically, i would have zero mufflers/cats/resonators/whatever. aside from being loud, is there any power to be gained? im assuming that since we're running 5 cyl into 2.5 in exhaust, i dont need to worry about not having enough backpressure? anyone ever do dyno time to see if this setup makes power? car is an 00 gts

also, since early rt10s had the side exhaust, wouldnt they be just as loud going to straight pipes as a rear exhaust car doing what was mentioned above? i believe they have one muffler and one catalyst per side. so the sound would be similar to a straight pipe'd rt10 w/ side exhaust? ive heard one of those before...
