better than c-bad, bah blasphemy... you mean no dirt road, chunks of pavement missing from the water box, and what not. LOL I will do my best to roll out, I love just watching awesome cars pushed to their fullest potential.Alternative said:01BEE & mxblue23 - there will be a few of us heading out to California Dragway (Fontana CA) this Saturday, July 17th. If you don't mind the large crowd and waiting around, this track is a lot better than Carlsbad in so many ways. 'hope you guys can make it.
Yes there is always someone faster, I know quite a few guys with blown daks who want to line up with a viper just for comparison sake. Even if the truck wins in the end it's still just a truck and will never compare to a viper. If scott gets his 427 swaped in he will probably be at fontana shortly.Alternative said:01BEE - there's at least a couple of us there everytime there is a Street Legal drags. You can check out the schedule at www.californiaspeedway.com (dragway section). Next schedule after this Saturday is July 31st.
mxblue23 - all of the above you mentioned, and I've been told about the "fictitious" ET & mph. No wonder I ran a lot better at Carlsbad the first/last time I went. Bring on the Dakota's, but you may have to fall in line as everyone wants to race a Viper. It's amazing how the Viper usually becomes the measuring stick, but we all know there's always someone faster (most likely not a Viper).
