I took these in front of my house the other day at dusk. It is an 04 996 TT Cab that was sent to Evolution Motorsports for a GT750 conversion.

Nice choice of wheels. I love black wheels on a car, the chrome ring is a nice touch. How does it drive? I've driven a 911 turbo hardtop but it didn't have the GT750 conversion. I'm guessing it is faster than hell now, no?

NO MERCY -- Awesome Porsche!!! Thanx for the pics! /images/graemlins/thumb1

I bet this beauty stomps all over your Mamba (assumption being that the Mamba is all stock)!?

makara, Thanks! The drive is really smooth. Very very fast and with AWD it just squats and goes. Very easy to drive this thing fast. It does have some lag but the altitude here in Denver is the main culprit.

THOR, The Mamba has a Corsa exaust, green filters, and a shift knob ... not enough to keep up with this Porsche. The Viper actually made me realize just how fast the Porsche is. The Viper is a total dog compared to the Porsche. The altitude here robs an NA engine of approx 20% while the turbo loses very little so even stock for stock the Porsche has more of an advantage than at sea level. Heffner will take car of that with a Stroker TT in a few months though and the Viper will rein as King of the garage. The Porsche will still be much easier/safer to go fast in. The funny thing is how people walk right past my highly modified Porsche to see a relatively stock Viper SRT. Even stock this Viper has some serious attitude. /images/graemlins/toothy

Smokin, Thanks!

SnakeEye, Thanks!

The Chad, Thanks!! I upgraded to 6 piston GT2 front brakes and had to have the yellow ...

Holy crap that's awesome.

I can't imagine anyone walking right by that car and not just standing there drooling all over it.

What struck me is that unlike most convertibles, I think this car looks as good with the top up as it does down. Perhaps it's the combination of colors along with the design of it, I don't know, but it's quite a feat.

Smokin, Thanks again. If I had to chose I'd still take the Porsche. I am just glad I don't have to make that choice.

Anthony, Thanks buddy!! Check www.evoms.com My car is the GT750 that they are using to promote the package. I will be sending it back this winter for the GT800 package.

G.C., Thanks for the kind words. I actually think it looks better with the top up.

Tanked, No sweat!!

No Mercy...

I have never really been much of a Porsche fan...had a couple of 911's years ago...but your car is absolutely stunning :thumb: I find it hard to imagine that ANYBODY would walk by that car to look at an SRT....I know I wouldn't.

Congrats...very,very nice.
