Over the past week there have been a number of great accomplishments in Viper drag racing.

First and foremost a big congratulations are in order to Norm Koerner and his hot shoe driver "Big Gun" Scott. You have definitely been over the river and through the woods in your search for the baddest naturally aspirated Viper engine on the planet and it goes without saying that the guys over at LPE have delivered more than most could have ever imagined. I am looking forward to seeing you guys run in Bradenton. Once again, congratulations!

Another congratulations goes out to Ward Reasner. Tonight you ripped off a record setting pass that most would have never thought possible. I know that the road leading to this pass is littered with broken driveline parts and that most would have called it quits months ago. You persevered and now you are able to reap the rewards. Again, congratulations! I'll see you next week.

Thanks Jason and you were right on nose regarding Norm and Scott. You are so right about me having had some very low points in racing, but the highs have so high and regular of recent, it sure help to wash some old bad memories partial out of my mind. Although breaking is part of trying to building a better mouse trap, but a part no one enjoys.

Congrats to you and Chad, you have a world record mouse trap...... Hopefully Wednesday another world record will be yours again.

Look forward to seeing it happen.
