What I find interesting is that there is no title. None. Doesn't it have to have a title or VIN of some sort? Or is it strictly a "parts" car with no original car as a base? Cool car, but for drag racing only you would have to be a serious enthusiast. I liked the fact that Sir Hiss was/is street legal...

Very cool car, but I can't help thinking it makes JPH's 8.93 in a V10, IRS, full interior, street legal Viper even more impressive.
True, but you're going to have to factor in a cost difference there too. You could probably buy this purpose built drag car and another stock Viper for less than Hennessey's TT car.

The VIN number is listed I believe. Unless I am misreading, it's 1B3ER69EXWV401422

I know 1B3 is a Dodge. Not sure if ERXXXX is a Viper code or not.

I'll be interested to see, if the reserve is met, what this puppy goes for.

A bit of background:

This car is Bill Adams' who has been with Team Viper since the very beginning in 1989. His title: "Leader, Vehicle Build - Team Viper".

Supervised production of Viper & Prowler prototypes and the Comp Coupe.

I think this was a wrecked Viper that he rebuild with new frame, used doors roof & quarters. What's carfax say? (Maybe it was a factory car that ran into an issue and never got titled?)

Lots of big name friends in MI worked on this car. Race weight is something like 2800 or less.

found this recent article on the car. Guess He's got a new title:
