It must be one of his twin Turbo/Auto set-ups.

With the power those cars are making a mid 8 is possible if the power could ever be put down. The IRS sucks for drag racing. You must run positive camber to counteract the suspension squat. That and any motion other then forward is wasted motion.

I think the VCA is right on here. They have an agreement that Hennessey will not participate or advertise on the board in any way. Now Larry Macedo apparently is selling HMS stuff, so he is hawking John's business and products. Sorry if that sounds harsh to Larry, but I think he made a mistake hooking up with JPH.

And franky, I am ashamed at alot of you guys kissing HMS's ass and slapping him on the back and with the high-fives. The guy ripped off a LOT of people to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Maybe you guys are rich and can afford it but I couldn't. Until I hear Taig and Bill and others telling me that John squared up with them, he will always be a lowlife to me.

And now he has apparently opened a new business and is back in the game of selling parts. How would you guys feel if you were one of those who lost out? And please don't say it's just "reporting the news" - it's advertising from HMS and nothing more. Whether Larry is doing it or someone else, it still advertises John's business.

Could have been for a number of reasons - one might be they dont want the VCA site being used to advertise HMS products considering he has been banned from posting and advertising.

Funny how you can't please everyone - VCA got flack for only allowing first hand reports and removing "rumors" and now they get flack for removing posts which might otherwise serve as advertisements.

I guess it depends. But when you consider that John's name has made the black list, I suspect any threads that talk about him or his company would be removed. The problem is - talking about the car can be seen as trying to promote it, and thats a no-no these days. There is a history of people using fake ids to promote tuners and the problems continue even to this day.

I myself never give any money for goods or services without a receipt and or written legal contract.

In no way do I speak for the board or do I have any input to the "rules"; I'm just going on what I *think* are the issues.

As for Buyer Beware - do you think it is wise to continue to iognore the problem and let unsuspecting people be taken advantage of?

Personally, I dont think his name should be black listed. I think that people should be free to express their opinion either way. But thats someone elses decision.
