2001 DLM Viper for sale \"Final edition\"

I will be selling my 2001 DLM Viper which was "Twinvipers" car previously. I purchased the car from Jeff not realizing that Id have to part with the car so soon. I will be entering into a new business venture and the the financial obligation needed as grown as the deal got closer to closeing. I have decided that I should sell a few of my toys in response to my needs. This car is absolutly beautiful. I drove the car from Long Island to South Carolina which accounts for 1000 of the miles ive added to the car totaling 11k. The car has red with white stripes pushing 941rwhp. This car has gone in the 9s and runs amazing. It also has the rollcage installed as well as the safety harnesses. The tires are in good shape as well as the 18inch Fikse wheels which are black. There is an intercoller spray bar installed. DLM put his magic hands on this car and its bulletproof from the built bottom end to the top. There must be something wrong with how many characters you can use when hosting a pic to the path of it....I renamed the files and they show up now.....Hmmmmmmmm

I have someone with a 01 GTS bumble bee with 6k miles and a yellow 02 Z06 with 6k miles. The deal would be for 55k on the GTS and and 32k for Z06. I will trade him my 02 DLM car for both of these. Does this sound like a good deal? Does anyone have any interest in these cars at these prices?

I was thinking the same thing, 3 owners. If you need the money why the trade? Do you think that you will have a better chance of selling the 2 other cars faster than your Viper for 85+?

I am entertaining any interesting ideas. Maybe its possible that The other two cars could be sold faster then my Viper who knows. I was just looking for some opinions about it. I know that the car has had 3 owners but I never even registered the car and neither did Twinvipers. I really dont even have the time to really enjoy this car, I guess I do work to much.

TwinVipers makes a valid point about the deposit that I had on Roofs car. It took me almost 3 months of argueing with Roof to get my 5 grand back. It wasnt for new heads Twin, Roof said he didnt have the money. I got the deposit back after I got my lawyer involved... Sad

OK steve

here are the facts:

1. You Bought my car knowing it was under rebuild
2. You realized that it would take time to finish
3. The fed ex lost the heads or the car would have been finished sooner than promised
4. you and twinvipers arranged for you to buy the lean machine and you wanted your money back.
5. I said no way,
6. I told you I purchased another car based on the fact that the red car was sold to you.
7. You came up with all these excuses
8. I told you I would consider giving you the deposit back
9. I then told you I would give you the deposit back when the car sold to someone else
10 you said that is not fair, I told you it was very fair due to the fact I sold you the car and purchased another based on the fact that my car was sold
11. I then offered you half of your deposit back you cryed about that
12. after gettting tired of responding to you and knowing I was going to give you the money back when the car sold I sent it to you
13. You paid a Lawyer for that???? I never recieved anything from any attorney!
14. you and twin and probably DLM worked this deal on the back door and it was wrong and I should not have given the deposit back, you backed out of the deal.

the biggest fact is that you have purchased a car that has fabricated Dyno numbers and also it runs very lean! that is why you are selling the car! and that is why Twinvipers is not going to buy the car back! I never brought any of this up but you and the drivng police want to get dirty well here is the truth.

did I keep his deposit for several month's? YES
why? the car was still being built?
when he backed out it was maybe 4-6 weeks I kept the deposit
why did I keep it?
becuause twinvipers and steve worked a deal and just assummed I would graciously give them the money back!

I have with that LEAN MACHINE!!!!!! KABOOM!

one more thing, I told you it was about the money on the other car purchased, I NEVER TOLD YOU I DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY!

I have always known him to be a stand up guy, very forward and honest. If I had taken a deposit for any car, house, land etc. I might not ever give it back. I guess some people buy on a slim margin and should have never purchased a car anyway. I am not saying this is the reason, fact or this deal, just a statement. I have always wondered why anyone would buy a Viper and have to sell it within weeks and months of the purchase.

David is not broke in anyway or fashion and you can take that to the bank.

Make a deal and live with it as any man should and or would, live with the deal that you made. :thumb:

Not trying to stir the shit here, but isn't a deposit generally non-refundable? If you gave me five grand as a deposit and then backed out on the deal, I'd be at the tittie bar on your buck! THAT'S MY MONEY NOW, BITCH!!
