wondering if any of u have had any warranty work done? they are pulling the tranny out for something, and while its down, they wont give me a rental car. still under factory warranty, wondering if this is how DC works? With my vette, if it was down for a day, they would give me a rental. anybody know the particulars on this?

If you have the extended warranty, it should include a rental car. I had the tranny replaced in my GTS before the standard warranty ran out. They gave me a Neon rental and said that the only reason I got the rental is because I had purchased the extended warranty.

I always got a rental from my dealer and I didn't even buy my car from him. I don't think that is the norm for Dodge dealers though.

That's what the service rep said, i would only get one if i had an extended warranty. i dont need the car, just the principle. really doesnt make any sense to me. if it's under warranty and their gonna have it for a few days, give the customer a rental if they want.

Craig at fresno chrysler. do u know of any better places for future use. they are doing the tranny, rear diff leak and some clutch play. they will have the car until late next week, probably fri, still no rental.
