CRAZY?? :bonk: These are cut from a solid bar stock of aluminum and really look good. I found a Viper Vendor offering a similar pair a grand!! These were purchased (Not for a grand....Cheap) from a friend who found them on ebay, and installed on my car yesterday. They bolt on and look so much better than the Belanger cheap chrome razor sharp and rusting tips that I had before.

No not a big dummy just a really good friend that did not need them. He Knew that they were valuable but sold them to me for what he paid for them. If I had something that he needed I would do the same for him. BTW he said I had to pay for the beer at Hooters from now on. :cheers:
We have do not have anymore and do not know who makes them. I all I can find is a similar set made by Zero Altitude Flight for a grand but do not look near this good, but they are made on the same pricipal (cut from bar stock)

those tips on that yellow car were made by me (MGW)!!!!!!


we sold a few sets like that to some guys that were not viper owners that wanted something different. they were originally intended for the stock viper exhaust. later we started making them with a viper logo on the sides.

that is too funny. we sold them for 195.00 for the set of 2. hope you did not pay too much for them as those do not even look chromed :cheers:

also be careful they can slip off if not tightened right and those suckers will get VERYVERY VERY hot /images/graemlins/gasthrower.gif

actually they did not :bawling:


these are the problems we faced with BILLET tips....

- just about everybody changes the exhaust and the tips only worked with stock tips.

- the road debris screwed up the chorme in no time. they were basically for show only.

- the intense heat and gases from the exhaust would discolor the chrome and also corrode the tips like crazy.

- they got hot as hell!!!!! i mean you could pour water on them and it would steam off for hours. the aluminum pulled ALL the heat out of the pipes and held it in. a real danger if you have little ones.

Can't beat the MGW tips for anywhere close to the money. Absolutely stellar product and they clean really easily. Do a great job of keeping exhaust grit off the back of the car too. We've had them on the car for about 3 years now and don't get any of the tiny black marks that used to show up with just the stock tips on. This pic was taken after a 3 hour drive.

George I paid $70.00 for both and I like the brushed matt look with I had the logos though. You built the best metal stuff around. Do you have any licence plate surrounds that can match that finish cause I am in for one at anytime.
