Hey any time! After looking into it a bit more it seems like I might just do an Arrow PCM for my Gen 4 when I do my exhaust. It should make a big difference with the throttle delay. You're spot on with your assessment. You'll notice that delay literally all the time. The power, depending how you drive, not so much.

I want a Gen 5 in the worst way. But I have already been eating ramen thanks to my last Viper purchase.
I initially was going to change my venom PCM to the arrow pcm to try to address the dbw issue but decided not to because it seemed like a lot of people with the arrow pcm reported RPMS hanging on deceleration.

Try the TKO adjuster - it takes 1 minute to install (plugs inline to dbw pedal), set it to 30-40%, and the dbw response should be instant and crisp. I know it's not in my head because when my dad tried it at 0% (disabled) and 30% (where i normally leave it) he also thought it was like driving a completely different car.

Yes the dbw isn't as good as the gen 3, but it isn't that bad! I do have both and I do like driving my Copperhead more. My gen 4 is a coup and has a few mods
and puts down 628 rwhp so it is faster than the 3. Looks cooler also, but I love both!! I have had very little problems with the 3, waterpump and power stering but that is all in 44000 miles. Great fun cars!!

The GEN III I would full build on any big engine issue, put a SC and a GEN IV hood on.

What is a TKO adjuster and where do you get it?

Had a GEN II, III and IV. Had a supercharged on the II and a full on build GEN III which I still own making 950 RWHP (on 93 pump gas), but has a GEN IV hood. My GEN IV stock was so boring I got rid of it in 4 months, just sooooo slow. My GEN II with SC and GEN III full build with SC rock. My GEN III SC card is so awesome, absolutely love it and looks like new. Had to do both regulators and top door trim recently and that 950 RWHP is on a STOCK PCM! It will be up for sale this year, but with all suspension mods and such will go for high money for sure and is a VCA edition vert. I would not get a GEN I, no creature comforts, stock Gen III motors no, a GEN II or GEN IV and only if the V is build as too many issues like a GEN III stock. When my GEN III sells, I will be crying but getting closer to elave the USA now, a LOT closer so unloading things now.
BAD68GTO - Side Bar question, please.
How do you deal with wheel hop?
My wheel hop is so violent that I can't get a good launch.
Or, perhaps better asked: What suspension set up do you have in your 2007?

Well the 07 is all running a Penske suspension, but I kept the original parts as it is such a rare care indeed being an 07. My GEN II is running MOTON springs and external adjustable shocks. If you come over to Southern NJ, I'll let you drive my 07, it's really streetable.

I was getting wheel hop when I first got my C63. New tires is all it took and never had an issue since (I wear out before I age out since replacing the set it came ith)

Expect old tires that need to be replaced. Listen for clunks from the rear diff, shocks, and clutch. Don’t ask me how I know.
