I think the Forgestar F14 is a better looking wheel than the Sidewinder...and I don't think it's any more expensive.

Yeah that does look good, is the car lowered in the 1st pic? The gap seems smaller.

They do look nice, but the rear rim width is only 12.0. Our factory rear rim width is 13.0. This could present some issues depending on the rear tire. For example, the 355/30/19 is best placed on a 12.5 or 13.0 wheel. A 12.0 will work but the tire width will extend a little bit off the sides.

That's called curb rash protection. The Forgestars are a great choice.

I have them on my 01 GTS with the 355 Pirellis and Eibach springs. They do rub the inner fender lip in the back...right at the top of the wheel arch right where the tread blends into the sidewall of the tire. I keep an eye on it so I don't blow out a sidewall inadvertently. It happens over big bumps and possible when the car squats under WOT. I don't think a GEN-II running stock springs/ride height would have a problem though. I was running the Big Brake Dave spacers and had to remove them from the rear so the tires sat in the wheel well better and didn't hang out as much. I left the spacer on the fronts since it didn't cause any interference issues. Just my experience with these wheels/tires.

On the VOA there is a thread where Forgestar is going to build some 13" wide rears if there is enough interest.

Id link the thread but I dont have enough posts.

40's up front?

I'm running sidewinder 2"s with 295/30/18 up front with lowering caps. Considering a 40 series up front to close the wheel gap and help with ground clearance. I'm attempting to upload a pic

Looks pretty good, especially with your brakes, but what kind of suspension you running? Rancho, rough country?

LOL,
I am going to temp put the gunmetal Sidewinders (I guess that's the color) on my B/W 96 to see how it looks and sits. Has to warm up a little first though.

Ya they look great, but they are a B*itch to clean. Worth it though when they are done. Get a lot of compliments on them, and people say it's the best looking Viper they've seen, wheels help change the look of the car.
