I know there are some of you out there that just don't like JonB...somehow you guys didn't connect when doing business or whatever but the following is why I think this guy is great for the Viper world and just in general.
Lost my car due to an engine fire (old news). Had just put a new Stoptech BBK on the car just prior, and picked up an extra set of rotors (racing) for the car. Since I just picked up a Gen IV these rotors were not going to work for the new car...so I posted them for sale.
JonB saw my add and asked why I was selling them? Told him my story, and I thought that was pretty much it. Then out of the blue he sends me an email to let me know that he arranged a swap with Stoptech of the rotors that I have for a new set of ACR rotors for the Gen IV...and no cost to me...not even the shipping!
Didn't ask him to do this, didn't cry about being stuck with what I had...he just made it happen because he wanted to help me out after losing the Gen II. He did this on his own accord and worked it out with StopTech. I know maybe for some people that they just do not get him...the ways he handles his business, things on the phone or whatever but you can't tell me that what he just did is above and beyond what most people would even do for someone in their own family!
Say what you want about JonB but what he did was a pretty amazing thing with asking nothing in return.

I wanted a set of floor mats using the TA orange but no one made them. I contacted JonB and he talked to his vendor they had had a set made. Said I didn't have to accept them if I didn't like the shade of orange but they were perfect. That's someone you will always go back to for business.
All these good reviews make me want to try him out again. I must've slipped through the cracks when I called to order some fascia brackets, I never heard back from him. sounds like a busy guy and totally warranted though. He was nice enough on the phone!

He is a one man operation. He has put me on hold many of times to take other calls but that never bothered me because I get it...he is a one man operation. If you have an "I am more important person than anyone else" attitude then that could be part of the problem. From my experience it might be about having patience and just keeping the above in mind. He has told me that he would get back to me on something here and there, and I didn't hear back from him...but a call or email to remind him and it was taken care of right away along with an apology for forgetting.
I think most people just have to keep all of this in mind when dealing with him. I have called him first thing on Monday and started of the conversation with a joke about "Monday morning calls" and he just starts to laugh. Not nut swinging...just trying to give a perspective that you have to keep in mind when dealing with him. He knows his shit, and has the resources to get what you need.
he has done cool stuff for me too. i wish i could get him to get other SRT stuff. i want 2 pc rotors for my srt8 challenger but im tired of looking. jon always comes up with cool stuff
Thanks for your note, and a couple others [VG and SD] pointed me here as well. Your kind words, as well as those who chimed in made my MONTH, not just my day.... Thank you all...
I was truly sad to hear that all your research, planning, time, and funds burned literally to the ground. Thanks for your business on many of those lost mods, so I was certainly happy to help you recover / trade some new and useable ACR rotors in trade for your surplus non-fittment stuff.
I just got back from Buttonwillow, with about 80 partisipants and 15-20 spectators. Felt like family again....great event. How it should feel.
