I dont know either party and could care less of the outcome, however reading the first page and several threads like this are enough to make me not give RSI my money ever. Im a little less understanding and if someone took $16000 of my money, I would be taking a road trip with ill intentions..
Understood. But as someone who admittedly knows nothing about RSI or it's customers - all of them - your accusations are nothing but drivel. Not accurate assessments of events.

Well has the OP's issue been resolved? Or the other threads, have their issues been resolved?

Good point. As well as in alley vendor bashing fashion, the numerous cars they are turning out, no one ever talks about those. Vendor bashing really doesn't make for entertainment if you include those

Maybe if we cold get a list of cars that were turned out in the past 12 months it would help people understand the situation. Surely if the people are happy with the builds they should have no issue with that information being shared.

Sadly, that would not fuel the entertainment that vendor bashing provides, and no one would believe it anyway. They only believe someone that joins Viper Alley, and in their first and only post, create a complaint thread.

Here is a crazy concept, and call me nuts for even suggesting this but perhaps, just perhaps a viper owner shows zero interest in joining a car forum and making 15,000 posts...

Then perhaps he gets screwed over by a shop for whatever reasons and perhaps he made every attempt to amicably resolve the issue in the real world with zero results.

Then perhaps he or she comes here to vent their issues as a last ditch effort to get some restitution and is 100% truthful in presenting the facts.. Should the fact that the dude didnt spend every waking hour on Viper Alley since 1999 making tens of thousands of posts make him or her any less credible?

Social media like this have become a powerful tool for the consumer. Thats not to say at times it can not be abused as well.

You seem to be going out on a limb to run to their defense, in the forum world that term has been coined "nut swinger or nut hanger"...Not saying that is or is not the case, but just pointing out an observation. I have no dog in this fight however having been around the industry for a long time, I have no reason to doubt the OP's story as well as several other posters stories. Every shop drops the ball once and a while, but it the ones that dont resolve the issues that tend to snowball out of controland become a train wreck..

I have never done business with RSI nor do I know the OP, but reading several threads on here, there is no way in hell as a consumer I would give a penny to RSI with confidence. But that's a choice each individual reader has to make, I just personally have scene this exact same scenario repeat itself over and over and over again in the industry..

It's a well known fact in marketing that a bad client/company interaction will spread word of mouth far more than a positive one. It's phycology. When you pay for a service and get it, that's what you expected. There's no surprise or trauma. When you pay for a service and do not get it or have a bad experience, there's a certain amount of trauma thAt correlates. Also, emotional intelligence, abandonment, and mommy/daddy issues will enhance the sensation.

Disneyland is the happiest place on earth! Check out their rating with the BBB. (No, the BBB isn't the end-all entity, but I'm just making a point).

Actually, I'm not defending anyone. And you cannot show a post where I have. That makes you on the intellect of nothing more than a shit starter, since if your made up story here has no basis, as it doesn't, you make something else up to continue your agenda.

I have 15,000 posts at Viper Alley because I didn't just show up last week and start posting like I know everything. Read more, post less, and you won't look so unintelligent.

FYI you have 279 posts in a single month, in a year's time at that speed you will have 3348 posts in a year.
