i actually originally read his statement as, he owes $57k more than the truck is worth ($45k). Then I thought, there's no way this guy owes $100k on an F150, because no bank would finance that much negative equity and only have an F150 as collateral. That led me to believe that he actually meant that he owed $57k total for the F150, which currently has a value of $45k. Grammar is clearly not his strong suit but, neither is economics...
Either way, the OP is not in a position to be buying a new Viper, if he's worried about the $12-15k he would need to pay off to get rid of the F150
